Sir, The papers in support of your claim to a pen- sion are herewith returned. Your service as a team- ster and waiter to a wagon-master dows not necessarily imply that you were a soldier bound to military duty and detailed for such employment, without which your case is not embraced by the act of 7 June 1832. It will be necessary to show that you were under the usual enlistment as a soldier. |
