[1] Leah Mabee was listed at age 1 in the 1870 Federal Census of the Town of Minden, Montgomery County NY, with her parents Albert G. and Sarah in the household of Maria Mabee.

[2] "MABEE, Albert G., b. 1843 Fort Plain, N.Y., private, 2 NYC, enlisted Syracuse, NY Sept. 3, 1864, mustered in Sept. 5, 1864, single, clerk, still living, P.O. Kirkville, NY."  Record of Civil War Officers and Soldiers of the Town of Manlius completed on February 23, 1866 by the town clerk.

[3] Christian Y. Edwards.  He with his wife Leah and their children Sarah, Agnes, Joseph and Katy were listed in the 1860 Federal Census in the Town of Palatine, Montgomery County NY.  In 1880, they appeared in the census of the City of Lansing MI; included in their household was her mother Sarah Hutchinson.

[5] 1910 Federal Census of Saratoga Springs listed Leah H., wife of Dr. George H. Fish.  Married 7 years, her second marriage. Leah Fish died at Greenfield Center, Saratoga County NY, on 11 May 1938.

[6] Dr. Albert B. Cornell, his wife Sarah, his step-daughter Leah H. (age 11) and his mother Content M. Cornell were listed in the 1880 Federal Census of Kalamazoo MI.

[7] Dr. Albert B. Cornell, son of Dr. Joseph R. Cornell.   Albert died in Kalamazoo MI on September 3, 1917;  his wife died July 26, 1913 at age 64, "formerly Sarah E. Edwards, native of Montgomery County, New York."   "The  Cornell's only child is Mrs. George H. Fish of Saratoga Springs, N.Y."

[8] Content M. Cornell was listed in the 1880 Federal Census of Kalamazoo MI at age 69, born in NY, parents born in MA.

[10] Will of Cornelius Mabee (2-7-8-5-2) of the Town of Palentine, Montgomery County, dated 10/14/1865, proved 12/16/1869, mentions wife Maria M.; sons Jerome A., Ambrose S., and Albert G.; daughters Ann Margaret Mabee and Emily G. Ayres wife of Alexander; and granddaughter Sarah E. Loomis, the only child of deceased daughter Emilia.

Cornell, son of Dr. Joseph Cornell, died at Kalamazoo MI August 25 1877.  Born in Clinton NY January 25 1829, only son by his father's first marriage, his two sisters being Minerva and Abigail.  Portrait and Biographical Record of Kalamazoo, Alegan and VanBuren Counties, Michigan. [14]  Recorded in Kalamazoo death records as Josepha Cornell, died 7 August 1871 aged 70 years 8 months, a physician born in Vermont.

[15] Probably this was Content Cornell who was residing with Dr. A. B. Cornell in 1880 in Kalamazoo. 

[16] Probably the wife of  Oscar D. Cornell, who was brother of Dr. A. B. Cornell.
