Albert A. and Jerusha Ann (Brown) Moor Family Record

"Records copied from an old Bible given to John R. McMillen by Benjamin Carswell, after the bire burned the MMillen home on Bean Hill, shortly after 1900, and destroyed the McMillen Bible. The Bible is old and crumbly, and the title pages are gone. It is a large pictorial Bible with chronology tables on it, etc."

Deaths

Mary Isabella Moor died Nov. 3, 1856 aged 9 yr-2 mo-10 days.

The transcription page also bears the notation:

"Many of the dates have been done over later in blacker ink. The marriage was originally 1843, changed to 1844; the birth of Kate from 1847 to 1848; the birth of William from 1852 to 1853; the marriage of Kate may have originally been 1869: too well covered up to be sure."

*Kate's surname in her birth record is the only one on the transcription page spelled with a final "e".
