Carroll Fentale Seminary, one of the most successful in the West; Normal department.   The story of this great seminary established and built up by these two girls, reads like a fairy tale and shows what grit and perserverance can do; it should be an inspiration to all teachers, men and women.”   She married Dr. Henry Shimer.   They resided in Mount Carroll IL in 1884.
