As transcribed by Cornelius Emerson Durkee and listed under Saratoga in Volume 4, pages 121 – 122 of Durkee's Epitaphs of Saratoga County, New York. “The foregoing are all the inscriptions found in the Stafford enclosure, which is located on the east side of the highway, a short distance west of “Staffords Bridge” on Fish Creek. They were copied by C.E.Durkee Oct. 1876.” (Durkee page 122) (Stafford Cemetery is located on a dirt driveway which runs east from Stafford's Bridge Road (route 67) and commences .6 miles south of route 29 and .4 miles north of Stafford's Bridge, in the Town of Saratoga, Saratoga County, New York.
