Harman VanBuren Bible Records

The Holy Bible, published by Jesper Harding, Philadelphia, 1847. (image of Title Page)
Inscription on front page: "Miss. Ruth Millard*, Clifton Park, Saratoga Co., March 13th 1848" and written to the side "VanBuren." This very worn, simple brown Bible measures about 11 ¼” x 9” x 2”. The family record section consists of only one page, with marriages and births on the front, and additional births and also deaths on the reverse. This Bible was transcribed September 2004, from the original, by Alice Zetterstrom.

*Note: Ruth Millard Van Buren also is listed in the Joseph Lawrence Bible record.
