As listed in Cornelius Emerson Durkee's Epitaphs of Saratoga County, New York, under Stillwater, in volume 2, pages 515 – 518. “This cemetery is situated on an elevated piece of ground on the west side of the main road, and near the old Town Hall, in the Village of Stillwater. It contained at one time many more gravestones than at present, removals having been made to the new cemetery. The entire abandonment of the old ground is contemplated. The inscriptions were copied by E.D.Harris and C.E.Durkee together on the 11th of September 1877.” (See 1866 Beers Atlas for the former location of this cemetery in the Village and Town of Stillwater, Saratoga County, New York.
