FORT EDWARD
Oliver Lickey, thirteen years, and
William Preslon, fourteen years, were captured by Arthur Lee, the Delaware and
Hudson night watchman at Saratoga, riding on the pilot of the engine of train
31, which arrives there at eight o'clock from Troy. The lads were turned over
to the police, who charged them with vagrancy. They belong in Fort Edward.
The boys are also accused of stoning
a passenger train seven miles north of Saratoga narrowly escaping inflicting
serious injury on the passengers. They were taken to the Rochester School
yesterday.

Lohnas and Miller Couples Guests At
Reception Given by Eastern Star
A reception in honor of Mr. and Mrs.
J. Willard Lohnas, and Mr. and Mrs. Jurlan Miller, whose marriages had occurred
since the last meeting was an attractive event Tuesday evening at Masonic
Temple, in Saratoga Springs, given by Saratoga Chapter 131, Order of the
Eastern
Star, following its regular meeting. Mr. Lohnas is the patron of the Chapter.
The reception hall was attractively
arranged. Right Worthy Lewis M. Jones on behalf of the chapter presented the
couples with suitable gifts, and the responses were appropriately given.
The reception committee included
Mrs. William H. Vaughan, Mrs. Richard J. Mahr, Mrs. William H. Adams, Mrs.
Henry M. Carr and Mrs. Lewis M. Jones
The social hour was most delightful
and refreshments were in charge of Mrs. Frederick C. Manselsdorf, as chairman,
assisted by Mrs. Frederick J. Millward, Mrs. Abram H. Millward, Mrs. Richard J.
Mahr, Mrs. Arthur O. Lee and Mrs. Joseph McConnell.
