“The foregoing inscriptions were copied Sep. 29, 1877 by C.E.Durkee. The stones are located on a side hill, facing Fish Creek, about a quarter of a mile north of highway leading from Victory to Deans Corners.” Durkee’s Epitaphs, volume 4, pages 347-349.
This cemetery has also been called the Clements Cemetery and the Sanborn Farm Cemetery. The Service Cemetery is located north of Route 32, between DeGarmo and Mennen Roads, just east of Fish Creek and up the hill ¼ mile, on the west side of the lane, in a wooded area.
