Information from two Saratoga County estates is included below, to help identify the Smith family buried in this
cemetery.

lists: wife Mary Smith; son Thomas Smith; daughters Elizabeth, Sarah, Ellenoer, Mary, Ann & Charllote, and
grandson Giles Burrit.

The will of Charlotte Smith of the Town of Stillwater (will book 15, pages 37-42) dated 7 January 1849, proved 3 April
1849 lists: daughter, Sally Ann Campbell, wife of James Campbell; the children of James Campbell & Sally Ann
Campbell, James Campbell, Julian Percival Campbell, Elizabeth Campbell; the children of Elias Tompkins

The estate petition of Charlotte Smith, by Daniel Morey of Stillwater, dated 16 February 1849 (surrogate court file

Northumberland and Betsey wife of Samuel Wood. Also listed are Sally Smith, Fanny Smith & Joel Smith, who
are children of her deceased brother Thomas Smith. And also listed are Thomas Barrett of Corinth, Giles Barrett
& Mary Luscomb, who are children of her deceased sister, Nancy Barrett. All are of full age.
Estate annexed July 14, 1851. The estate file is large and contains interesting tidbits of information, for instance,
a June 6, 1849 receipt from Charles Broughton to Jones Tompkins, for "twenty five dollars in full for Charlotte
Smith's grave stones."
