CHARLTON INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL Seek info on the Charleton Industrial School that was in operation during the 1920's. Three family members are listed in the 1920 census there as servants. I would like to find records of this school. I want to find out why these relatives were at this place considering their ages were only 11 and 12. I want to find out why they weren't living at home with their parents. Can anyone direct me to where information and records from this place might be? My relatives were Orange and Waldo Baker ages 12 and 11 respectively and Levan Makeley age 11. Orange and Waldo Baker were from Lycoming county, PA and Levan was from Steuben County, NY. I have seen transcriptions of some of the marriages and births and I know there were meeting minutes. Do the minutes exist somewhere?
