)The Williams Cemetery is in the Town of Northumberland, Saratoga County, New York State. It is located on the north side of King Road, 3/10 mile west of Colebrook Road and 1 & 1/10 miles east of Ruggles Road. Unfortunately, this cemetery was not recorded by Cornelius Durkee. Judging from the locations of the existing upright stones, it would appear that there were many additional burials. Older Northumberland residents recall about 30 stones. Restoration of this historic cemetery could yield much additional information. The following epitaphs were recorded June 9, 1995:
Thomas Williams who died April 13, 1827 in the 75th year of his age.
Maria E., daughter of Thomas & Sarah Williams, died Aug. 1, 1846 ae 2yr's 21d.
R. W. footstone
Richard Ballard died Dec. 14, 1845 aged 46 years & 8 mo.
Rufus, son of Richard & Naoma Ballard, died Sept. 24, 1834 aged 1 yr. 2mo. & 7 days
