SANDERS fam according to the 1820 NY Saratoga C, Ballstone twp, liv there during the cen period. The fam I am related to is Joel and Sally LITTLE SANDERS. Next to them liv the fam of William, Henry and Samuel whom I suspect are rel. Joel b ca 1802 in VT and Sally b ca 1806 in VT also. I feel that since he was approx 18 and she was approx 14 during this cen that they may have m in Saratoga Co. They had 4 ch b in this state, William Henry b 1825/26, Caroline b 1827, Nathanial b 1830 and Philirous b 1831. By 1838 the fam had mov out to MI. SAXTON, Nathaniel, b. 9/27/1763. Married at Visscher's Ferry abt 1783 Susannah SMITH, b. abt 5/6/1767. Son, Nathaniel T. SAXTON, b 1811. Susannah died March 15, 1855, and is buried in Southside (Whitford) Cemetery. Nathaniel T. moved to Cayuga Co. before 1843. m. Catherine HANNAY (HAYNES). Children, Daniel D. b. 1843, Catherine, b. 1848, Mary Belle, b. 1856, Charles Sumner, b.1857. We believe that Nathaniel (1763) was the brother of Gershom SAXTON, b. 1761. Among his children was a Gershom, b. 1797. We have a great deal of information on this line, but the parents of Nathaniel (1763) are still unknown. SENNET, Simon (1812-1900) and his w/2 Minna (1835-1891)liv in Saratoga Springs from ca 1872 to their d (with the exception of 1881-84 in NY) at 241 Nelson Avenue. They had eight ch b previously in Goshen and Schenectedy. At least two of these, George and Dora, liv on their own in S.P., George eventually m Aletta JACOBSZ and emi to South Africa and Dora(1857-1938) m a local farmer, Frank WILSON. It is written and mailed by Charles STOCKMAR, son of Alexander and Doretta STEHLING/STELLING/SCHILLING STOCKMAR. William STORM[S], son of James and Mary ____ STORM, b 2 Feb 1772, in Easton, Washington Co, NY or in Ulster County, NY. He died in Plessis, Jefferson Co, NY on 30 Dec 1859. He was a 1812W vet, serving at Milton, Saratoga Co, NY, commencing 13 Sep 1814 and ending 12 Dec 1814. He was a Methodist circuit rider, serving in Clifton Park, Saratoga Co, NY in 1801; Cherry Valley, NY in 1804; and Milton, Saratoga Co, NY in 1814, and reportedly traveled with Bishop ASBURY. He joined the Masons in NJ and over the years became a Knight Templar. He became a res of the Town of Alexandria, Jefferson Co, NY in 1822, and worked as a surveyor for many years. His known siblings were: Christianah STORM (1765), Jennie STORM (1770), Rachel STORM (1775), John STORM (1779), and Leah STORM (1783). Not clear if they were born in Easton, Washington Co, NY or in Ulster Co, NY. No m or d info for any of these sib of Rev. William STORM[S] has been found.
